Today, we took the RavenCroft story to a Luggage Rummage being held in Chester as part of the town’s Green Weekend.

Similar to a car boot sale but with no cars: we were allowed to bring 2 suitcases of items to sell plus a blanket as the “stall”.

We arrived in Grosvenor Park to a light smattering of rain and were relieved to find that there was a gazebo under which we could set up.

It looked amazing, especially since we only found and booked this last week!

The weather was… changeable… to say the least! Heavy showers, thunder and periods of dazzling sunshine that left the park steaming. Thank goodness for the gazebo.

We had some amazing conversations with some lovely people and our goodies were popular too.

We managed to have a look around some of the other stalls between showers and collected some exciting freebies – lots of wildflower seeds, a baby Tree Spinach plant and a selection of free seeds from Lewis Gurran Plants.

We left with lighter cases, a few plants and renewed vigour for our project.

I wonder what else is possible?

Having way too much fun!
